Vaccination History

This page describes the business scenarios for the Vaccination History Use Case.

This scenario can be realized by using a common interaction pattern describing the search and retrieval of clinical resources.

Future specifications may differentiate the cases based on the search parameters used and the kind of vaccination data that is supposed to be searched and retrieved.

Scenario

Vaccination History sharing (document)

1. Check Patient ID.
2. Once the identity of the patient is validated, the HP of country B queries country A for Vaccination History documents of that patient.
3. The HP interface requests the list of Vaccination History documents of country A to the NCP of country B.
4. The NCP of country B requests the list of Vaccination History documents to the NCP of country A.
5. The NCP of country A, after checking if patient consent has been provided (where applicable), gets and provides to the NCP of country B the list of Vaccination History documents of country A available for the patient.
6. The NCP of country B conveys the list to the HP interface.
7. The HP-B selects the Vaccination History document and requests it to the NCP of country B.
8. The NCP of country B requests the selected Vaccination History document to the NCP of country A.
9. The NCP of country A gets and provides to the NCP of country B the requested Vaccination History document in the MyHealth@EU format.
10. The NCP of country B conveys the Vaccination History document of country A to the HP interface.
11. The HP interface provides a vaccination history view.
12. The HP-B accesses the patient's Vaccination History of country A.
13. The use case is terminated.

Vaccination History sharing (vaccinations)

This scenario can be realized by searching and retrieving vaccination resources directly, when the resource retrieval interaction is supported by the participating NCPs.

1. Check Patient ID.
2. Once the identity of the patient is validated, the HP of country B queries country A for vaccination resources of that patient.
3. The HP interface requests the vaccination resources of country A to the NCP of country B.
4. The NCP of country B requests the vaccination resources to the NCP of country A.
5. The NCP of country A, after checking if patient consent has been provided (where applicable), gets and provides to the NCP of country B the vaccination resources of country A available for the patient and matching the query parameters.
6. The NCP of country B conveys the vaccination resources to the HP interface.
7. The HP interface provides a vaccination history view.
8. The HP-B accesses the patient's Vaccination History of country A.
9. The use case is terminated.
