Study Retrieval

This page describes the application view for the Study Retrieval business process.

Business View

The overall business scenario associated to this process is described in the Business view page.

Application View

The Imaging Study Retrieval may be realized by:

  • searching and retrieving the study manifest - the Requesting NCP searches for candidate study manifests and, once identified, retrieves the selected one(s), as shown in the first alternative of the diagram below
  • fetching the study manifest - the Requesting NCP already knows the study reference and retrieves it directly, as shown in the second alternative of the diagram below
