MyHealth@EU logical models for ePrescription and eDispensation refine the EHDS logical information models provided by the Xt-EHR project. These models use obligations on the logical models to highlight the elements identified by the MyHealth@EU Functional Requirements. Three types of obligations are defined based on the MyHealth@EU requirements:
These obligations are implemented using the following rule sets:
ObligationMandatory - SHALL:handle for mandatory elementsObligationRequired - SHOULD:handle for required elementsObligationOptional - MAY:able-to-populate for optional elementsePrescription information is communicated using the MyHealthEuMedicationPrescription model. This model extends the EHDS Medication Prescription model and is specifically designed for the MyHealth@EU ePrescription context.
The ePrescription model references supporting information models for the patient, prescriber, medication and dosage instructions.
eDispensation information is communicated using the MyHealthEuMedicationDispense model. This model extends the EHDS Medication Dispense model and is specifically designed for the MyHealth@EU eDispensation context.
The eDispensation model references supporting information models for the patient, dispenser, medication, dosage instructions and location.
Please note that a dispense can only include one medication. Therefore, in case of multi-line prescriptions, the dispense should reference the prescription item rather than only the full prescription.
